Default Fixing the Oracle LED side markers

I know most people like the Oracle LED side markers but they are stick out a tag too much compare to OEM. I have them for about a year, while I like the LED looks, the fitment is always bothering me, especially the front side markers.
Today, I removed the front side markers for repaint. While they are out, I want to see if I can make them fit better. I noticed the 3 tabs on the front, when installed they will rest against the bumper, acting as spacers. I trimmed those tabs about half length then reinstalled. They fitted a lot better now, more flush with the bumper.

I did this yesterday on my front markers but in the process broke off the front clip on both markers. Ugh. The plastic they use is SO fragile unlike the OEM markers. Thankfully, the rear clips were fine and hold the markers in tight. For the price they should fit correctly and not break so easily.

They do sit more flush now and look great. But geez they should work right out of the box!

Yeah, they do unfortunately. Only thing that bothers me slightly with the Oracle lights. I wish they sat completely flush like OEM for the price they ask for them.
