Default C7 Carbon Extended ZR1 Spoiler Installed

Picked up the spoiler from the body shop this morning and installed it. Fit is pretty good with just a slight gap on the front edge where the spoiler meets the top of the rear fascia. Will probably get some double-sided tape and press the front edge down.

There are only 4 mounting locations compared to 6 with the GM full-length racing spoiler and the 2 outside mounting holes nearly matched up with the holes already in the bumper, just had to open them up slightly.

This spoiler has bolts that go up from the inside on the 2 outside mounting holes instead of bolts coming down from the bumper through the holes. Also whereas on the GM racing spoiler the brake light wad screwed into the spoiler on this one the brake light fits around the 2 center mounting bolts and you secure it with nuts.

The body shop charged me $150 to paint it, so all told I saved about $350 over buying it pre-painted.

Will have to get better pics when it stops raining.

Looks great! Absolutely love that color.

Did you ever consider getting the CF version? I have the CF front splitter and extended skirts. Leaning towards getting the CF extended version.

No, I’m apparently a rare individual that does not like carbon fiber. I also didn’t want gloss black like the splitter & side skirts so it didn’t look tacked on. To me keeping it IO makes it look more integrated.

Car looks great.. I have the same spoiler on my car and the fit was just about how you described. I just used the center bolts and 3m'd the outside edges.
