My wife won't go if I take either of my Vettes, she's more of a Cadillac or Continental kind of girl..She hates the way the Vettes ride......WW

2021 C6 of the Year Finalist - Modified
My wife loves riding in my GS ... But she don't much like driving it at all (good )
She complains that she can't see correctly over the hood or in back.

She seems to have enjoyed riding in my first one when we were dating, MANY years ago, but she never would ride in any of my C6s. She says she's never really liked Corvettes and she's afraid if she got in it, she might have trouble getting out of it.

Mine loves riding in it, but acts likes she doesn't sometimes. She says she will not drive it herself; too worried about ground clearance and damaging vehicle though (to her credit). All in all I appreciate the cruises with her, nothing like it.

Every girl I knew or dated loved it.
My ex HATED it. She hated the car, she hated that I owned it, she hated riding in it.
Oh she loved it the day I let her take it to work though.

In our case the question should be reversed to "does your husband like to ride in your Corvette?" since its officially her car although both our names are on the title.
I don't like convertibles but my wife has always wanted another convertible sports car ever since she owned an Austin-Healey until the early 1970's.
She insisted on taking it out for a top down run with the outside temp at 25 degrees shortly after taking ownership. My thought was "this is supposed to be fun?"
As soon as we got out of city limits on the open road she riveted me against the seat as she wanted to see how long it took to hit 130 mph, not long I found out.
My wife is the spirited adventuresome type but hasn't tried naked bungee jumping yet.

My wife likes it for short drives. She's not a petite lady and has a touch of arthritis in her knees, so getting out of the vehicle isn't very comfortable for her.
We're going to try our first longer road trip later this Spring to the NCM and other tourist sites in Kentucky. Hopefully she can tolerate the drive. Gonna have to put the NPP fuse back in for that trip though darnit.

probably doesn't apply, as I got mine C6 after a divorce.
although my younger daughter ( 18yro ) doesn't seem to mind.
see likes the smell of the leather too.
my older daughter ( 21yro tomorrow! ) are heading on 6k mile / 9 day
driving fest in may. hopefully, we'll still be talking after we get back.

When I first got the car in July the pipes (unknown brand) were very loud and the biggest problem is they were prone to drone. The bad thing is the drone was worse at 55 to 70 mph. Hell, I couldn't stand it.
So I put the Borla axle back touring system on the car. I also added "Blockit" sound mat in the cargo area and behind the seats.
She likes it now. We just returned from a trip through the Texas hill country and we had a blast. We usually drive it on daily errands two to three days a week. She does complain about getting in and out of it though.
So yeah, after I civilized it just a little she's my traveling partner.

I'm not married but all of my lady friends love riding in it. One friend likes it so much she planned us a road trip to Chicago (from Cleveland) in the Vette this June. And another to my Cabin in MI in August!

Mine likes riding in our C6 and driving it too.
She wishes I'd let her drive it more, but I work out of town for 7 days at a time.
When I'm home, it's my turn to drive. She had her chance the week before.

Well she bought it for me for surviving open heart surgery. She drove me around in it while I was recovering. She is a great driver and a awesome navigator. She is the best.

Drifting
I had a 1979 when we first started dating. We drove 350 miles from Atlanta to Destin, Fl. When it rained, water would leak and drip on her feet. She said it rode like a "bucket". She never quite got over that. The few times she's been in the Stingray I had to go slow with no sudden acceleration.

This is my first Corvette and she think's it beautiful. Love to take her out for ride on Sundays or out to breakfast. She says she's not ready to drive it yet but loves to ride in it. Also say's it's comfy especially the heated seat. I like the top off and she like's the painted roof over the smoked glass one. She would go anywhere with me. I love to take her with me as much as possible. We don't use it for traveling we take the truck the boy and two dogs
