2015 headlight problems.

2015 headlight problems.
The driver's side headlight is flickering off and on in my 2015. If the light is out and I switch to high beams it stays out. If I turn the lights off and back on the light comes back on. Any ideas?

I'd go w/ ballast, also.
Although w/couldn't a failing bulb behave similarly.
Wished I'd known the 'switch bulbs' trick, swap bulbs to determine cause when it was needed.
C/would've saved me respectable coin w/ a dealer who wouldn't say whether it was bulb or ballast. No way to know! Said bulb was cheapest (LOL) of two, worth a risk. Wasn't bulb. $250 later.
Bought a ballast at eBay, waiting for wrench to install when heads get buffed-up.
Might consider doing likewise, part + a qualified wrench.
My dealer isn't just incompetent and lazy, they're shifty as hell.
