Default Question about TPMS

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if the TPMS from 2016 C7 will work on 2006 C6? Can they be programed to "talk" to the older car?
Planning to get a wheel and tire set from a 2016 Stingray to install on 2006.
Currently I have those very same wheels installed on my C6 with track tires and no sensors, no big deal. It would be nice however, if I could do away with the annoying warning.

Thanks in advance.

No, the TPMS sensors on a 2016 C7 will not work on a 2006 C6

Unless the 2006 was originally an export car, which had the 433 Mhz communications system. Then yes.
