So I bought a new Kenwood stereo for my 2011 GS. Took the radio bezel half way off and was only able to disconnect the two seat heater connectors. Got cold feet and took the advice of those on the forum and had it installed at Best Buy. I left the connections unplugged to make it easier for them.
Picked up the car today and seat heaters don’t work. Brought it back and they checked the fuses and they were fine but they changed them anyway. He was certain he had plugged them in, but offered to take things apart again just to make sure. They were hooked up properly. Next he put a meter on the fuse box and power was present.
He said the chances of both switches going bad was very slim. He said it could be in the computer and suggested I take it to my local dealer or see if the forums had advice. Sooooo, what do you guys think?
Just me but to be sure I would check myself to be sure the switches are plugged in. Hard to believe they both fail much less one failing. Maybe they bent pins in both plugs? Hard to believe. Good luck.

Many thanks in advance
I assume you purchased the Kenwood from some other seller. What did Best Buy charge for installation only?
