Great color
It looks like a candy color but I have no other info on this car. I believe I'd be proud to be sporting this color though!

It's probably a European spec'd car with that fender signal. So your saying that is a factory color?

Crystal red.....maybe
That may be crystal red since it seems to change colors under different light conditions but I wouldn't bet on it.
This is crystal red in the late afternoon out of the direct sun.

The thing that stands out to me is not the color, it's the "wet look."

That Z has a chiclet so it's 2009 or older. Could possibly be Monterey Red, which was available for a couple of years prior to CRM.

MR was from 2005 through 2007. In 2008 and forward they went with Crystal Red Metallic. There is not a huge difference between them.

Beautiful car! Looks like a lacquer paint job to me, though.

I'm still not entirely convinced that it's something other than a custom candy color.

C6 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
Both Dodge and Ford have a red that looks close and IMO nicer than my CRM. The Dodge appears to have a different metallic and the Ford's metallic is finer, aka not much.
I did a bit of Candy color painting in my youth (50+ years ago) and you can really build depth with the tint to the point it looks wet like that photo. It's an art I never mastered.

It is Crystal Red Tintcoat with some Photoshop (or similar) filters thrown on it.
Tried posting a link but won't work. Just right click the image and click the Google option and you can see a facebook post on the car.

Most like that is caused by a ceramic coating.
