I'm weighing my options of going wide body on my 08 or just sticking with the base body lines. Does anyone have pictures of nicely done base cars they would like to share? I'd like to go with an 18/19 with the most tire I can run. I'm not really interested in reproduction wheels, but I'd love to see something like a set of forgelines or similar.
I wouldn’t be selling my Cray Brickyards if I didn’t want to run a drag pack all the time. These are 275/35r18 tires on 18x9.5 fronts and 325/30r19 tires on 19x11 rears.

Thanks.
I looked into doing just the wide body rear quarters, wheels and tires. I quickly dropped that idea. It gets pricey in a hurry for not a lot of gain. I've been told that you can go one size larger on the stock rims without creating any problems. I've just stayed with stock sized rubber and enjoy the car the way it is. I must be getting old, but at least we are still out there cruising and enjoying at 72.

I went with the SR1 Apex wheels. I wanted something a bit more custom and what I really like about these is they have a deep wheel look as the spokes wrap in. Many Vette owners check them out because of the deep look. They come in a myriad of finishes and are totally customizable on order.

You fit 325 on the back of a narrowbody? Did you run into any issues or rubbing? Or did they poke out the side? (I have a narrowbody as well, and looking at whee/tire fitment options)

Yes, still on the stock narrowbody quarter panels with no rubbing whatsoever. There’s a very slight poke (running Hankook Ventura Evo2 tires) that people don’t even notice.

I just ditched the OEM chrome rims and opted for the Stance SF03s gloss black 20" x 11 rear and 19" x 9.5 fronts sitting on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
