harmonic Balancer
Wobbly balancer.
Have shop to do repair scheduled.
Car is used only for in town driving and touring. No performance driving.
Shop in the past has replaced with OEM and not had problems. However, I have heard good things about Summit PP1117N and SS drives. I understand the N has stock diameter pulley's and the SS has different diameters.
Has anyone tried the N version?

Those numbers are for PowerBond balancers made by Dayco. Available from Summit.
The N is the OE style with center hub connected to pulley with rubber isolator.
The SS is the SFI rated steel one that does come with undersize pulley options.
Most suggest SS as they believe the N will fail just like the GM balancer.
I will never supercharge and don't believe that every balancer that looks like GMs will eventually fail like GMs so I went with the N...no problems.
