What year is your vette?.....I put a set of 08 NPP mufflers on my 07...Bolted right up no modifications/ 2005 -2007 you can put 08 NPP mufflers on. 2009 and up NPP has a different bend in the pipe and will not bolt on to a 2005-2007..You will have to mod the pipe. You will also need NPP in a box to open and close the flaps. Great mod. quiet when you want it and loud when you want it. Best of both worlds. I installed the the npp in a box myself and had a shop put the mufflers in.
Yes, I have a 2008 base corvette with NPP and swapped with a full 3" Z06 exhaust. This swap included the exhaust manifolds to the tail pipe. The mufflers are from a 2011 Z06 which are louder than the previous years because the bi-pass pipe in the muffler is solid vs perforated. Yes, the sound is deeper than the NPP's. Also, car was tuned after the install.

First, thanks for answering the question without the usual "search the forum" response. Let's just say I'm not a fan of the search function...
A few follow up questions: you say "08 NPP" exhaust worked for your '07. Was the donor exhaust from a base C6 with the NPP option or was it from a Z06 with the NPP option? Would a 08 NPP from a Z06 work on a '06 base?
I have a '06 base with the Z51 option. And I'll either end up installing a corsa (if I get lucky and find a used set) or a used NPP set. I'd rather do NPP, because for the bi-mode option.
If you have a manual transmission, you can bolt on an entire Z06 exhaust, manifolds, midpipe, and NPP mufflers and pick up about 20hp. If you want to just bolt on the NPP mufflers you will need the mufflers from a 2008 LS3 powered car.

Thanks for the help!
It was from an 08 base with NPP option. I love the mod, you will to if you decide to go this route. to get vacuum to open and close the flaps you have to tap in at the back of the manifiold. A bit of a pain in the *** but not that bad. You have to break off the little tab

Yes, the search function here is one of the worst I've ever seen especially since it is unnecessary to reinvent the wheel. Try adding "site:corvetteforum.com" to the end of a Google search and you will get a real search function of this forum. If the results are too numerous, first just add C6 to the search and then "C6 General Discussion" in quotes if even more filtering is needed. For example, "add z06 muffler c6 site:corvetteforum.com" would have given you several valuable results including https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...tterflies.html near the top.

google search with "C6 corvette" and your topic is a much better way of researching.

I did a complete Z06 exhaust on an LS3, base manual. Everything bolts up and aligns with existing chassis mounts, but as said already, you need the exhaust manifolds along with the cats, X or H pipe and mufflers to make it clean.
Two areas - It was a little "twitchy" getting the boxy cats bolted up and tightened to the exh manifolds; and, the passenger side muffler needed a little persuasion getting up/over the axle.
Yes, nice, improved sound. I left the NPP always opened. This was all on a boosted engine. Only a very tiny, mostly unnoticeable rasp sometimes on deceleration.
