Default How many have had both the Corsa Sport & Corsa Extreme???

Our C5 came with the Corsa Sport already installed and I really fell in love with the sound.

Our C6 came with a Magnaflow installed and it makes me miss the Corsa!

For those that have had both, how much louder is the Extreme???

I’ve had both and there is a significant sound difference. Either Sport or Xtreme can be significantly altered with specific engine modifications.

I've been lead to be believe the biggest difference is the Extreme screams at WOT, where the Sport is a little milder.

There’s nothing mild about Xtreme at any rpm.

Whichever you choose make the right tip choice. I went from Sport 3-1/2” then Xtreme with 3-1/2” tips then to Xtreme 4”.

The Extremes are named appropriately. Unless you like a "straight pipe" sound coming out the back of your car at all RPM's (including drone), then you should probably stick with Sports.

I had the sport on a LS3 2010 Camaro SS, and currently have the Xtremes on my 09 Z51. The Xtreme is noticeably louder, albeit they ARE different cars. Id say Xtreme was 40-50% increase while driving hard, but almost no noticeable increase while cruising. Idol does sound a bit deeper with the Xtremes as well.

I Very much disagree with this. I have TSP headers, x pipe, and cora Xtreme and experience almost no drone, and decently quiet idol. With just the Exhaust and stock x pipe/headers, you wont experience any drone with the Corsas. No where near what the straight pipe sounds like, especially not at idol or <3000 RPM.

I should have clarified I was talking about drone with regards to your car having mods (cam, intake, headers). Definitely have drone at some RPMs in that case.

I agree. I just bought my 2008 a few months ago and it had Corsa Xtreme's on it. Way too loud for me, so I bought a pair of stock mufflers on Ebay and had the Corsa's replace.
