Steering wheel shake .
So around 55mph I get a shake after installing my aftermarket wheels . F14 275/40/17 r888
Swap oem on and steeering shake is gone .
swap only the passenger side back to oem and I only have a slight shake .
swap only the driver side and the shake is back to normal .
figured passenger side tire is bad .
so tire rack sent me a new tire and it still shakes .
so now I put the driver side F14s on the passenger and shake is just as bad .
Sooo something on the passenger side causes a shake but only when a after market wheel is on or both my wheels are bad but I doubt that because I get the same shake from
both fronts wheels
clips taken off
alignment done
balanced 3 times
checked suspension.
wheels are a 17x9.5 275/40/17. R888

Sounds like a bad wheel. Try jacking up that side and turn the wheel to look for run out both side to side and out of round. Did the tire shop guy notice anything weird when on the balancer?

He said he measured and everything was normal .
what’s werid is no matter what aftermarket wheel I put in the front passenger side it causes a shake . Almost like I only feel it because it’s a r compound tire

Are the wheels hub centric, or do they have rings to center? Also a trick a guy showed me to center rims is to tighten the lugs by hand with the socket and extension while banging in the tire to get to to seat centered.
Also may need to put the machined aluminum centering rings on them if they came with plastic.
