Default Shocks in OKC

The rear feels a little floaty. I am thinking about replacing the OEM shocks with Bilstein B6. I believe they are the softer Bilsteins for the C6.

I have not found a local installer or seller that seems very eager to do this work. I am thinking about ordering them from Tire Rack but I would still need someone to install them. I would glad to purchase locally if I could find a competent seller/installer that could come to a reasonable price.

Would appreciate if someone could recommend an installer. And for the matter a seller/installer in OKC.

Just a couple bolts and a tie rod end. You got a beer-buddy with some tools?

I thought most muffler shops also do shocks. Find one that will let you bring your own parts.

Been trying to find a shop, that's why I posted this, haven't had much luck.

So far as doing it myself, I don't have a jack or jack stands. From what I saw on vid, it's more involved than I thought but didn't require a removal of tie rod end.

Maybe call up one of the clubs and ask for an indie shop they use.

I think he's still a vendor; call him up and ask who's good to do the work..

If you don't want to do it yourself stop by Bryan's Automotive in Edmond. They work on Corvettes and do good work.

Send me a PM on this.

Thanks CM, Just the info I needed. I know Bryan isn't much for diagnosis and repair but I'll see if they can do this job for a cost.

Basically I think Jerry's and Metric are the only two competent repair shops in town. Metric doesn't have the lifts for 'vettes and won't work on them. I didn't call Jerry because he's a little expensive and I don't need repair. My experience with Bryan's have been pretty poor but I'll call them and see.

Thanks for the info.
