Default Door Weather-strip replacement question

Has anyone replaced the weather-strip at the top the door where the window glass contacts the weather-strip? Can it be done without removing the door panel? GM Part #20791100 and 1101. Thanks!

it is much easier to install correctly with the door trim panel removed.......... door trim panels are not too bad to remove and reinstall either....................

If you are referring to the weather-strip on the outside top of the doors then you do not have to remove anything. I just replaced mine 2 weeks ago. Popped the old ones off, slid the new ones on. 5 minutes tops.

So do you just lift up from the back or front and they release? Is there a trick to taking the old ones off and reinstalling the new ones? Thanks

It just sits on a track. Pull up on either end and it should come right out. Mine where real easy. Weren't held in with any glue or sealant or anything.

Mind if asked from where you ordered yours? I’d like to do the same.

GM Parts Direct had the best price. Drivers side $77.09, passenger side $81.93. I checked several sites including Amazon and this was the best price I could find.
