I received my QuickJack BL-5000SLX today. Upon opening all three boxes I realized the install instructions were nowhere to be found. I called QuickJack and requested the instructions be sent. They said they would send them out to me.
Upon inspecting further I realized I may be missing two parts. If you look at the picture you'll see how this arrived to me. There are clearly two empty slots where there should be connectors? Am I missing these or are these slots only for specific models? I don't have a parts list so I'm not even sure what I should have...
Here is a better picture...showing the two empty slots. Or is it possible these are connected to the unit upon delivery? If so where would they be so I can check?
Call them and they will make sure you get them. Very easy to work with.
They are closed for the day. I can certainly call tomorrow but I'd like to know exactly what I am missing. And since I don't have a parts list because the install instructions weren't sent I'm at a loss.
A quick search pulls up the pdf from their website. That's were the threaded adapters would normally go that thread into the pump/power unit that then fit the male hydraulic quick connect. Two of your male quick connects appear to already be threaded and o-ringed so those are probably not needed.
Seems they don't keep the instructions 100% up to date, I remember there were a few parts that the instructions said I would have to install that were already on mine. Plus a few of the wrench sizes called out in the instructions were actually different.

Yes sir. As I was assembling the unit I realized that. They call for 4 male adapters and 2 nipple fittings with O-rings. The nipple fittings go onto the power unit and then 2 of the male adapters go onto the nipple fittings. I realized that my nipple fittings and male adapters were already put together as "one" which is why two of the slots are missing.
I have everything...just not the manual. But I found a manual online so that's how I've been assembling it. It's 11PM here though and everyone is asleep so I don't want to fire up my air compressor to fill the jack with air. So I will finish it up tomorrow.
