my car is a 2011 auto gs with 47xxx miles. Drove it to work today ( 45 minutes one way ) with no problems, car sat for 10 hrs and on the way home the security light came on on the gauge cluster. The following symptoms happen:
- the radio would blink on and off
- the window switches lights on both doors would blink on and off
- the npp valves sounded like they would open slightly and then shut
- on my hud the oil life bar would read 63% ( normal ) and then reset to 100% and then back to 63
- no check engine light
- it blinked service vehicle soon once for a second and then went off
- my fuel gauge, oil gauge and temp gauge went to 0 ( but read fine on the dlc )
- check fuel system flashed once
im at a loss for what to do. The car drove fine through all this but this ain’t the first time it’s done all this. I’ve had to replace 2 plug wires and went through 4 batteries in 4 yrs. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
With gremlins like this the battery is usually the first suspect but you've dealt with that part so I suspect there is a wiring issue somewhere. You don't say if there are any mods on the car but that could be an issue.

Also my car only does all this at random. I could drive it for a month and nothing happen and then one day it will do this all of a sudden. I have also noticed that this happens when ever I hit the lock button on the fob twice. When I exit my car I hit the button twice for the horn to sound so I know it’s locked.
