I took a trip to Sant Fe nm,and saw an 05 Corvette for sale at a lot,I may buy-I am back home now, so I can't look at it again, but I am moving there soon, I don't know how much of a big deal the Z51 package is,,but I wanted to see if this one has it. I heard on here-there is a sticker in the glove box ,but I can't look untill I get back there-but dose the VIN # show if the car has that option. Also-it may not matter, some other guy was also interested in it,and it may,be sold when I get back there
I think you can go to a Chevy stealership with the VIN number and they can print out a description of the car with how it was equipped from the factory.
Is this the car? https://www.capitolcityautosales.com...rolet-corvette
If so, it appears that it could have the Z51 option. The brakes are there, is isn't an F55 option. So it is either a Z51 or it just has the J55 brakes as a standalone option. The only way to know is to look at the RPO sticker in the glove box.
It looks like the a/c controls have been "upgraded" in that it has chrome around the *****. This wasn't available on a 2005.

I don't think the J55 brakes were a standalone option until 2011. Previous to that, they were with Z51 or F55 as a bundled option (depending on year).
