Automatic? Manual? Its possible your trans is slipping (auto) or your clutch is slipping (manual).

I'd personally do a tune up since it sounds like you just got the car... oil, plugs, and see if theres any fouling on the plugs (running rich/oil ingestion) or if the oil has a fuel smell (blow by from engine = worn rings). What kind of tires are on it?

Off rolling start my 05 will not spin the tires, simply accelerate. Any clutch added throttle and I can blow up the tires. I get scratch on my 1-2 shift and sometimes 2-3. Stock car diablo can 93 tune m6

I wouldn’t worry about it. Many different experiences when people drive on different surfaces, tires, temps, etc. Fact is I’ve had several miserably fast vehicles and rarely did roll on power break tires loose. Torque is just highe in the band.

Tires? May be really good tires that are gripping really well. Mine with the oem goodyears would break loose and get crazy if you even thought.. Throttle... But new tires refuse to break loose

I'm in the tires are the cause camp.

My seven year old Michelin run flats are hard and spin at the drop of a hat.

Time to switch to a stick! Have to say that even with the 6 speed, the LS2 only spins with some revs and a clutch drop. The LS3s I drove broke loose very easily. Either way, I don't like abusing the car too much, so little tire spinning going on.

Just kidding...those look like really good tires, don't have personal experience with them but that's why, they are probably just grabbing well...

What are the current temps where you live?

If you are in the 90's and launching on hot roads I would not expect the tires to spin. Once you get into the 50's you will lose some traction and make some extra power. The car can be a handful at lower temps.

My car will not spin at this time of year either unless I give it some revs and abruptly let off the clutch. I have Pilot 4S on the car right now.
