Default C6 front license plate

I am a new member and recently purchased a 2012 coupe. I live in Ohio which requires (unfortunately) two plates. I have a high respect for the local LEA's but generally don't want to talk with them on the road. Seems like many members like the Top Flight solution. I am also planning to install a Race Mesh grill and was wondering if anyone has any advice/suggestions on whether the Top Flight bracket is compatible with the Race Mesh? Seems like it should be. Also, does the Top Flight adhesive attach to a painted surface? Minor problem I realize.

Top Flight is the best IMO, it has nothing to do with racemesh in the grill, the 3M adhesive sticks under the bumper.

It wouldn't interfere with the grill in any way. The mounting point is well forward of that.

NYS also requires a front plate. After four seasons I've never been stopped, nor has anybody else that I've heard of. If you get stopped for speeding or something, then they'd probably pile it on but otherwise they don't care.

Of course, if I pass that one particular cop who just had a fight with his wife, or is just trying to be a big *****, he may think otherwise.

But so far so good.

go to www.thedoubleaa.com and check out their mount. They have models for the C6 base and GS or Z06. nice folks to deal with. quick shipping. Mount uses existing holes. Ive used both, one on my C6 base and one on my GS.

The mounts from thedoubleaa.com don't have anything to do with the grill either. It slips between the bumper and air dam on the GS and over the bottom edge of the base model. The top photo shows the base model with their mounted tag, and the bottom photo shows the GS with the mounted tag.

I also live in NYS where cars without front plates are ticketed. $110 fine.

I adapted my 2015 Craigs Mustang bracket to my base C6 along with a black license plate surround for from Ebay. The Craigs bracket mounts with 3M tape or a couple of screws.
It looks very similar to the TopFlight bracket.

Yes. The post looks fine. Is it showing upside down? If it is, the post is fine on my screen.
