I've looked on Youtube and here... I'm looking to install a catch can in my '08.
Does anyone have specific instructions (for C6) as to what's the ideal location to install it? Which hose gets re-routed to what location/etc? Pix would be helpful..
Thanks!

Looks like you got a generic catch can so you will have to make something custom to mount it. Regardless of the brand, it is the same hoses you route to the catch can. Just connect the hoses to the in and out of catch can.

On the Catch can it says "IN" and "OUT" - so I think it's pretty simple - the IN tube gets connected with the lower (Silver/right) fitting shown here, and the OUT tube gets connected to the upper (Black/left) fitting shown here.
The hard part now is to make that custom bracket...which I'm clueless about

I cobbled up a bracket, using the (elite can bracket) as an example. Bolt and spacer is from Homedepot.
I know that is not much help, but just what i found for myself.
I had already replaced OEM air duct W/a CIA by Corsa.

I've got some additional comments on the install instructions from Elite, having installed one of their cans 2 weeks ago.
1) Even though I asked them, they had no response as to what to do with the wiring loom fastener that you unplug from the hole in the passenger side head. I couldn't see just letting the harness dangle afterwards, so I drilled and tapped the same sized hole in their bracket, and plugged it in there. You could consider then zip tying it to the bracket to make sure the fastener doesn't pop out.
2) Things become pretty tight in there, so I used some split loom covering to provide extra protection where I thought the existing wiring was too close to the rocker covers or any other contact points, similar to these products: http://www.cabletiesandmore.ca/canad...SABEgKh7PD_BwE
3) High quality electrician's tape is going to be your friend to protect hoses from rubbing directly against the catch can if there are any contact points. I wound 6 layers around one hose where it touched the can. Just checked it today after running around 600 miles, and while there is no wear on the tape yet, you can see the potential for some to happen. I'm going to figure out some way now to keep the hose out of direct contact with the can if possible. Also, you will need the tape to hold any of the split loom stuff in place. I can also now see where the can presses down a bit on another section of wiring loom, so I'm going to add some additional protection there.

I still have no idea how to install the can in place, any ideas for the bracket?
I am thinking a metal strap or zip ties....
Your feedback?

I have a CIA as well. However, my main issue here is that this catch can (like many being sold on the market) didn't come with any mounting bracket, so what kind of improvisation do you guys do?
first link I tried to post didn’t work. Link below does. It is the flat stock with pre drilled holes. You could paint it or leave as is. Easily bendable also
This is a VERY different setup than what you are trying to do, but when I set up my MM catch can I placed it between the battery and the fusebox. It fits nicely there and out of the way, albeit lines need to be much longer. Just another idea for you.
I've done the same as blindspot. Mounted it between the battery and fusebox. I used the battery bolt that secures the battery to also secure the bracket.
