The Dragon
My wife and I drove from SE Florida to Murphy, NC. For the next couple of days we rode the Dragon twice and lots of other scenic roads. We used to do that in our younger days of riding motorcycles. This trip was perfect as we did Deals Gap on a Wednesday and there were only a few motorcycles and a few other sports cars. We virtually owned the road and was able to give the Corvette a workout. Nineteen hundred miles in five days of great driving with lots of switch backs, s-turns, and other road challengers.

Mid week is always the best for the Dragon and Cherohala. Good planning! Make sure you get some of those professional photographs too from the Dragon guys like Kilboy, Moonshine, etc.... Very inexpensive, about $7 each the last time we ordered.

Find your gear and leave it there. You exit a corner in the same gear you entered it. The Dragon is one continuous corner.

Number one rule on the Dragon is DON'T CROSS THE YELLOW LINES.
The motorcyclist violated that rule, and now he is suspended in mid air.
