I don't like them. Looks tacky to me, like something someone would put on a cheap Mustang but its your car, do what you like.

So why do the gaudiest Vettes with fake vents and the 'MURICA, F-YEAH! murals on the underside of the hood always win the car shows? Clean, tasteful mods are mostly ignored.

Op. I like the retro mods making a comeback. Similar to lettering on the tires.

Just my opinion but it makes the car look cheesy. Its kind of pep boy edition looking.
No one needs to see it written on your windshield to know its a vette.

I cannot read your post without replying to the rude and disrespectful characterization," 'MURICA, F-YEAH! " I've yet to ever see a car at a show with such a banner. I have seen many cars with various depictions of the Stars and Stripes...could that be what you are referring to? Apparently, when you see a mural of a flag, your mind goes to " 'MURICA, F-YEAH!' "That says a lot about you, none of it good. Maybe judges at shows are easily influenced by such a banner. Could it be that's because tens of thousands of people have died fighting for "'MURICA, F-YEAH! ", so that you could go on a forum and be disrespectful?

Well, yes, people did die and I serve so that folks can speak freely. But with that freedom comes responsibility and I apologize for causing offense. I chose how to express myself poorly.

Thank you, Keith. I appreciate you reply, and know that you are sincere. I served, as well, and have a quick temper with regard to respect for the flag, and military...in this case, too quick.
