Default 2005 Electric Issue

I just purchased a 2005 coupe for my girlfriend. Automatic with a Z51 package. Car has an aftermarket exhaust (corsa) on it. Car runs real nice however after sitting for a few days it kills the battery.

Anyone have any ideas why?

You must always put it in reverse before shutting off.

You could put a multimeter on the battery and start pulling fuses and look for a voltage change.

Usually the on-star. However, I think there was a DBS (dead battery syndrome) on '05's that called for a computer re-flash. Make sure your has had it done.

I thought Onstar was no longer supported on the '05. Which may mean nothing, or there is a draw from that no longer being "minded."
