Just a note, GM doesn't make the AC control unit for the C6 anymore. It's been discontinued. Just a heads up you can't replace the C6 Dual Climate Control Auto Heater A/C HVAC 2005-2013 with new ones. As ACDelco isn't making the unit for GM anymore. So if it breaks, you are SOL. How's that for a 5-year-old car you can't fix?
Lucky for us, You can purchase a rebuilt one here: https://www.autoecu.com/climate-cont...iABEgJy1fD_BwE

Settle down & relax. GM did not dupe anyone. The C6 is a reliable car. Discount the few nervous Nellies who complain about the "dreaded" this & that and realize that most people have extremely positive experiences with the vehicle - but that is not something that gets posted. Complaints do.

That is good to know thanks for this info. That is a very sad state of affairs that GM would discontinue a vital part for C6's.

Good news is it's a super common piece and separately available. There's likely people rebuilding old units of they do break.
In lots of newer stuff, it's all Integrated and so you can't really even replace it.

GM also announced yesterday that they are not making any more C6 interior parts.
None of this is a big deal to me. If there is a need, aftermarket parts will be available.
Just look at our own RL Sebring who was the first to help us with headlight lenses.
Every manufacturer does this.

Does that equate to a rise in prices for mint condition C6's?

Try ordering one...Most seem to not know. That's the issue I was having. Even called the dealer, it's discontinued. They say it a 10-year-old car, Maybe for the older ones, but not a 13.
It's good there is someone who is rebuilding the units.

That's not true in the least, Corvettes are very dependable. Just so you know, GM doesn't even make this control module. ACDelco makes it. You can nitpick any car and find issue with them. Electronics fail, it's just fact of life. It's not as if we don't have an option, that's the best thing. These cars are very popular and someone is going to make something to fix it.
