Are you kidding me?
I was the first one at the golf course this morning, got my cart and was heading up to the pro shop. I turned around and saw this.
I guess he just didn't want me to feel lonely.

I can't stand it when people do that. Same thing at the gym. Treadmills as far as the eye can see and someone just has to spool up the one right next to me. And of course they get all ripe in no time.

I always wonder to myself when I park right next to a Vette (admittedly not THAT extreme of an empty parking lot but I do go out of my way to take up a space next to one if I can do it without crowding the Vette) in my crappy DD, whether the Vette owners will be perturbed if they come out and see that. But at least I know that one side of their Vette is protected from a careless driver/shopping cart etc because I’m there. My little service to parked vettes everywhere, even though the owners will never know. Haha. Guess I hope another owner would do the same for mine out in the wild.

I wasn't really upset that he parked next to me. Most of the members park pretty decently, but it just made me laugh when there are so many other spaces available.

Looks like he was giving your car some shade to keep it from getting sun burned lol...……. this is rather funny I have to say haha.

Nice looking truck, and was banking that your not going to slam your door into the side of his truck when you get in vet.

Agreed. One side of car is protected for the duration.

I park in the distant parts of the lot too, and sometimes someone will park close too in a truck - I didn't think of the protection aspect! The best is a couple times this summer I've parked at Target and Home Depot and had another Corvette join me. The worst was years ago, I parked my 944T at the far end , at a golf course, and someone parked so close to my driver door I could not get in (they backed in so they could get out on other side). Had to get into the passenger side and crawl over - that did make me mad but never found out who. I figured they thought they were being cute. Oh well.
