Default Replacing halltech system

Just replaced my 06 vert with a 2012 Grand Sport 3lt with manual. The car is all original 17000 miles but came with a Halltech air system. Is there any problem with this type of air filter cold air box? Worrying about about of dirt that can pass with this type of filter.Thinking about replacing it with the oem. Not big on after market parts.

Halltech makes quality products & you will have no problems with dirt passing through the filter that they provide. If you are really worried though, sell the Halltech on this forum & go back to a OE system so that you can sleep better

LG Motorsports installed a Halltec on my car in 08. Have 204,000 miles on the car now with no problems. Don't worry about it. Just clean it and reoil it every 50,000 miles under normal driving conditions, more frequently if under dusty conditions.
