The passenger side view mirror on my 2007 corvette vibrates - vibration increases with speed. The housing is rock solid so I am guessing that it is something with the glass/mounting inside.
Does anyone have any insight to how to remove the glass (without breaking it) from the housing in order to see inside and gain access for possible repair?
There are metal supports, 3 I believe, on the sides of the mirror frame. They help with vibration. They may have fell out or somebody replaced the mirror and did not install them. I can post pics if needed
I can't find the old mirror. I will look for it more tomorrow. If you look into the housing, on the driver's side, with a flashlight you can see the tip of them at the top of the mirror touching the housing.
