Optima Battery
I have a '09 Z06 and want to put in a Optima redtop battery but the website says they don't have one that fits . Does anyone know what would fit my car? Thought with my mods that would be a better and longer lasting battery then a stocker. Thanks

You'll have to fab a holddown and this is a yellowtop but you get the idea.

Problem isn't necessarily the fit. I had a yellow top in my GS and used a "universal" battery holder that worked fine. The problem with the Optima is there is no way to vent the battery, which is why they are not recommended for in-cab placements like the Z06. Optima's are sealed, but apparently will still vent. Although I haven't heard of any problems, I decided to go the safest route and replace the yellow top from my GS with a battery with vent hookups.
