E-brake question
But the better question is why are you replacing the cable, since the e handle mech has an adjustment piece in to take up the slack as the cable slightly stretches over time.
Hence a cable snapped, then is needs to be replaced, but if you have too much lever movement and a cable is not snapped, then the problem is the E brake shoes need to be adjusted correctly, or you have a Lever (#3) at the E brake plate housing that is worn out instead.
So with the e brake shoes adjusted correctly and nothing worn out, should have 8~10 click up on the e brake lever from the all way down position, until you can't pull the E lever up any farther with the E brake shoes tight against the rear rotors drums.
