Default Looking for a C6

Hello guys, I’m new here. I currently own a Camaro RS but I’ve been wanting to switch to a manual C6. What would you say about this C6? Good option or no?

https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...1840/overview/

thanks,

Not a bad deal, but if it were me, I'd get an 08 up with an LS3 with a few more miles on it. I have an 05 manual and like it, but the LS3 def makes a difference.

Appears to be a decent car at decent asking price, but like post 2 said, 08 or newer, also depending on how long you keep car, silver is hard to sell. Looks from pictures that it is a no option base car.

All right guys, how about this one? It seems like a really good option to me, almost looks brand new.
What do you think?

i wouldn’t buy it without a closer look and test drive, but looks great from the pics, looks well maintained, and very low mileage. Price seems reasonable per KBB

That's a reasonably good price.

No problem, it’s quite beautiful in the pics. One thing I will tell you which may or may not be an issue, many companies use NADA guides for market value when it comes to financing and they seem to be lower than Kelley Blue Book. As an example that car according to NADA should retail at 22k. Compared to KBB which gives that car a private seller value of $26,999. Just for your info.

Also FYI I selected Very good condition for a valuation, could very easily be excellent condition which would raise the KBB value slightly.

Again, decent car, decent price. 2LT option group, use as negotiating tool, you want, even if you don't, a 3LT car with heads up display, heated seats, memory and power column. Good luck. BTW; much better choice than the silver 06.

For that money, I would get an '08 and 3LT option. You might have to go up to 50K miles, but that is nothing. I would not pay $23K for a 2006 no-option Vet....that's just my take.

agree

Seems like a retail dealer price for a 1LT, non Z51, no other options. Only thing going for the value is the mileage. (silver one)

Silver car looks nice I would try and offer a lower offer like 20k. Car is almost new. The 08 is really nice as well if price isnt an issue I would go for the 08. Silver if on a tighter budget.

08 Looks like a nice car. If it checks out, pull the trigger!!! Price doesn't seem unreasonable, but hopefully you get a couple grand off asking. GLWP!

Thank you all for the feedback I’ve definitely learned a bit more about the C6 now. I’m hoping to get one in the next few weeks but I’m still looking for the one. I do like the red 2008 a lot but I also found this other 2008. It is a 3lt and it comes in my favorite color as well, it looks impeccable and it has very few miles on it too, and the car fax is great too. It goes for 28K though, what is y’alls opinion on it, what do you think would be a fair price for the car?
I do like the color

I think its a tad high but not bad for being from a dealer. I would go for it especially since thats your favorite color and it has f55 3lt options. Try and offer them couple g's less. The only down side is you are approaching z money. But I think it is a badass ride for sure. Even if you over pay a grand or two i think you will be ok since it is such a good car.

Well I will be a downer, again. Beautiful car, too high in price, in my opinion. You can buy '11 and '12 models with 3LT and 40K miles for the same money. Here is a link to a beautiful 2012 Centennial Edition. I have the same car, and love it. This one has NPP exhaust, F55 suspension, 3LT, sueded alcantara seat inserts with red stitching, and lots of other special stuff that came with the package.
