Default Z51 emblems or not?

The side of my C6 Z51 Corvette looks pretty plain with nothing to contrast against the silver.. What do you guys think of the aftermarket Z51 emblems to give it a little snap.. I was thinking of black emblems that are like the the Zo6 emblems and about the same size.. In your opinion would this look ok, or would it look stupid?..Thanks... WW

I like plain over sticky add ons.

Your car, your choice.

Agree with saplumr. My last C6 had the Z51 option and it had Z51 badges on it. First thing I removed when I got home.

The can of worms has been opened....

The "purest" types will say "it was only an option not a model" yet lace their cars with "racing" stripes and other such nonsense. SO, if you think they look good then by all means go ahead.

It is just an option code.

My vote is a big NO. I also didn't like when C4 owners were sticking "LT1" emblems and the like back in the old days. Looks a little white trashy to me.

(BTW I'm a proud owner of a "base" with Z51)

When I order my Denali Diesel trucks I order the off-road Z71 and it can be ordered with the same badge for $35 and of course I pass on that because there are enough Denali, Duramax and GMC ID tags all over

Should I be offended for living in West Virginia? I’m about to take that personally.

If GM had decided to designate the performance suspension package as POS2 would you put that emblem on your car?

Just as long as you don't have the infamous "CORVETTE" sticker across the windshield !!!!
