Many original C6 owners still posting here ?
I bought my 2013 GS brand new. Back then there were many many other members who bought new C6's as well.
Seems many have moved on to C7's or even other brands. Seems a lot of the C6'ers here are now not the original owners.
So . . . . how many original C6 owners still hanging around here ?

Still have my '07, along with some others. And still posting.

I had 5 C6s, 4 of them were new when I bought them. I'm still here, although I don't currently own a C6. Does that count for me and 4 others?

I'm not the original owner but I've been here since 2014 with my 2011 GS, and I appreciate it more now. Had a call from the local dealer today in fact wanting me to trade it in on a new one, NO THANKS, I'll be keeping it

I've been here since before I ordered my '08 C6 in the summer of '07. What I learned on here made the ordering so much easier when I finally did it. I still learn things on here all the time.

Bought my 2008 in April of the same year. Still loving it SO much! Although I still have my 2000 C5 that I bought new in 1999 I seem to gravitate to the '08 much more.
I've tried to get the motivation to move to C7 but they just seem to be smaller inside the cabin. Might just be me but I don't think so.

Original owner of a 2006 with 142K miles. I don't care for the C7 in the first place but I also tend to buy things I like and keep them a long time.

C6 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
Had a 05, 06 and still have my one owner 07. It's a keeper. First car I have kept over 2 years.
206,000 miles and still going strong.

Still have my 2006, bought new. Took a hard look at the C7's, was impressed with the performance and bells-and-whistles, but was uncomfortable while driving (for me, felt claustrophobic and I'm only 5'8") and didn't care for the over all looks. Although my wife had agreed we needed to look at getting a new one, she told me she was happy I decided to keep ours because she liked it better and we should wait until the mid engine or a better design came out (So happy I married a car girl). I love my car and so glad after much deliberation went with the a DSOM with the 3LT Z51 packages.

Bought my 2008 c6 z51 manual brand new almost 11years ago come this november...im still here...
i had a new c5 z06 and a 1999 c5 z51 before it although the c6 i have put on 125k trouble free fun miles, i use this one as a daily driver and in the winter i put winter wheels and tires on..
the car is mint..no one believes it has 125k miles....
most reliable trouble free car ive owned over the past 40 years of new car ownerships.
ill probably di the rear mid engine z51 with mrc and dct in a year or so after it comes out...
just because its so different..and we ve been told this rear mid engine sports car was coming since the early seventies as teenagers etc..

I’ve owned seven vettes. The last four have been ‘08s. I bought my first ‘08 new but the last three have been used. I’m still posting.

I am Vette-less for the first time in 15 years. I didn’t move on to a C7 but still occasionally browse both the C6 and C7 forums. Very few posts from me these days. Just a lot of reading.

C7 of the Year - Unmodified Finalist 2021
Original owner here of an 07 which I bought in January '07 - joined here in April '07 and should have joined before I bought her. I still post here once in a while which I have recently reduced a lot since it is very slow and more difficult to post since they upgraded the system a few months ago. I am having to re-type this whole post because everything I typed went into obvillion the first time.

Started posting here a month before my Museum delivered 2007. I still lurk but the misinformation here got so bad when the price fell after the C7 arrived... And IB's insistence that clicks were more important than community...
