All I've ever seen are the hard copy books, like Helms. They are huge, and not cheap. I paid around $200 for my 4 thick volume set. I can't imagine it as a PDF.....

Someone did come out with a $20 version of our C6 shop manual, but I have not looked to see how detailed it was.

Also interested in a downloadable PDF version. Not sure why GM doesn't include these with purchase...oh wait, it's so they can make more money. Duh.

Years ago I got the PDF off eBay. I think it was a scan of the factory manual...all 4000 pages. Not searchable or easy to navigate. Didn't like it. Probably a copyright infringement and no longer available.

Then I got off eBay the shop manual that uses VMware software emulator. It looks just like what the dealers would use back then. Excellent choice. Searchable, cross links, zoomable diagrams...Probably a copyright infringement and no longer available. I use it regularly. That's the one you want if you can find it.

Occasionally i would search eBay for the factory Helms set for my 07. Came across a brand new 3-book set for $100. Didn't take me long to click BUY NOW.

For my 07, i figured 05-07 were the same car (except 05 trans) so I searched all years for a deal.
