Default ac problem

Only blows hot air. Compressor turns on and off with switches on head unit. But the compressor runs constantly, rather than cycling on and off. Hooked up recharge can and gauge went to red. Anyone have any ideas. Have searched the threads to no avail with this problem. Heater is working fine.

The system has a high pressure sensor in it, and if the freon pressure is too high, it going to cause the system to shut off before it blows a line.

Here are the high/lower pressure tables.

Also, if you are getting funky readings between the two, then would bank that the in line filter is plugged up, and will need to be replaced.

To change the filter since its in line and will need to split the fitting to get to it, you need to reclaim the Freon to start with to get the pressure out of the lines, pull the line to replace the filter, put a vacuum on the system to draw out any moisture from when the system was opened up to replace the filter, then you can recharge the lines correct with Freon to the above correct pressure amounts.
