Default Wide body conversion?

On the rear Z06 splash guards, anybody use the threaded attaching point through the rear cover, or not needed?

I just completed my widebody conversion. If you are talking about the screws underneath that go through to the diffuser, yes use them.

Thanks for the reply, but it is the single female clip right below the two male clips that go into the rear quarter.

You mentioned threaded attaching point, I assumed you were referring to the screws. My Z06 rear Splash Guards came with metal clips already attached, with the exception of the small metal clip that goes at the very top.

Yes I have one threaded female clip directly below the two male push in clips, but in order to use this attaching point I would have to drill a hole in the rear fascia to use it.

I did not drill any holes in the rear fascia, and I'm not sure of the threaded female clip you are talking about. Can you share a photo of it?

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately I'm away from home (2wks) and can't take a picture. I'll search online for a pic and see what's out there.

This shows a picture of the backside of the flare. The "U Nut" is in close proximity to the GM label:

Thanks for the link. Mine did not come with that U-Nut, nor do I think it is necessary. I'm not sure how one would be able to access the screw that would go into it either because the wheel well liner and diffuser will already be bolted into place.
