How do I remove
The directions say to use a flat head screw (it up) driver to pop off the silver piece before applying the overlay.

Just pry it out with a screwdriver or knife.

Your over thinking it.....Just stuff a screwdriver in either end and it will pop out. It will come out very easily, your not going to break it.

Put the tip of a small flathead or tip of knife in the bottom of the front and gently pry up, it will pop right off. Just wrapped mine the other day with some 3D CF vinyl I had left over from another projects.

You have to remove the airbag first by inserting a screwdriver in a small hole on each side of the steering wheel and pulling out on the airbag, then that exposes the screws that hold those silver pieces to the steering wheel. Lookup a youtube video for C6 steering wheel removal and use that for guidance. Just make sure you disconnect your battery first!
