Default Dogs in your vette?

Curious if anyone drives with your dogs... I have a golden doodle & a cockapoo, & avoid having them in the vette. Since that limits my using the car to go to our shore house in DE, asking if anyone lets a fairly large dog ride in theirs, & if anyone’s come up with a “traveling solution”, or something homemade to avoid their damaging/dirtying up the inside of the car... I know I’m not the only one!

I use to take my Doberman in my 82. I would even leave it running with th AC on when I went to the store. Funny a **** to watch some dumb *** think he would try to steal it.

Well as a young man I would never allow a dog to ride in my car.

Now, as an old gray beard, I'll take almost anybody along for a ride. Within reason.

In the last 40 plus years I have owned a "couple" of Corvettes. Dogs are welcomed. Here are a couple.

Have had my 2012 GS CE coupe for a little over a year and haven't had either of my 2 Springer Spaniels in it yet. My 11 yrs old Springer goes ballistic when she sees another dog and I don't want to see my interior get clawed & marred up. I have given some thot to letting my 9 yr old Springer ride with me, but haven't yet.
I don't hesitate taking them with me in my Savana conversion van.

Just got back from a 1,300 mile round trip to see my sister; took the Vette and our two pups. Wrapped 2 pillows in a car blanket right behind our the seats, put our luggage behind that; made a nice little 'shelf' for them to ride and they seemed to enjoy it . Dogs ride in all our vehicles all the time and have never experienced a 'doggie smell', in fact, most people amazed that our vehicles, even the Corvette with 90K+ miles on it, still have the 'new car' smell to them .. yes I'm a little OCD, although I don't mind getting them dirty on road trips, I keep my vehicles extremely clean and my wife keep the pups the same .. lol.

Absolutely. It's just a car. Didn't buy it to baby it. Bought it to drive it. Dogs, cats, bunnies..... all are welcome.

I take my Golden Retriever, Bodie, everywhere I go, except during the Summer. A couple days ago, he went with me to the gym, and it was his first time back in the car since early-June. He was ecstatic!!

I found a nice, washable seat cover at WM for about $10. That is on the pass seat for about 8 months out of the year.

No dog here. Teddy, the cat, has gone for rides. He goes against his will, in his carrier. He is not a good passenger.

I don't have dogs, but I have taken more than a few cats for rides in them.

Some intentionally, one not.

Thats a big NO. Besides its illegal and just plain wrong to leave a dog in your car. Dogs are for the must part not belted in which is another problem. Mine has figured out its Vet time when hes in any car.

my Zoe comes everywhere possible with me! I cut out a carpet for the floor and she stays put. I just put a blanket on the seat, for her beak
