What, if anything else, is also broken? Check with your dealership and with a private garage on labor figures. Pick your poison.

All depends upon what's broken....axle; differential gear; differential case ???? Best to find a reputable shop that knows Corvettes & have them do an inspection & give you an estimate. Check with a local Corvette club for a good shop.

Do it yourself for fifty bucks. If you know where to look and have some skills and tools.
