I just noticed a bit of oily grime on the sway bar under the rear end of my 2010.. I haven't seen any drops on the floor but it appears that something has gotten on there and attracted some road dirt.
Has anybody had any leaking problems with their rear diff's?

as I type this, my '09 is getting new axle seals installed. they started leaking a few months ago. but this week, they started dripping fluid on to the mufflers ( easiiy seen from the smoke it generated ). I'm at 137k miles, so not sure if the is normal.
Mine actually did leak a few drops at a time which is how I noticed it. Luckly at the time it was covered under warranty. My 2010 had 14,000 miles at the time.

It was more prevalent on C5's than C6's. Open up the fill plug on your rear diff and stick your index finger in. You should feel fluid just below the opening when you bend your finger down. If it's full, it's probably not a substantial leak, but should be monitored.
There is a venting mechanism that releases tiny amounts of aerosolized fluid under heavy "use", over time can accumulate & sometimes produce a tiny drop on underside of the diff housing. As another suggested, check the fluid level thru the fill hole to ensure the level is just below the hole.
