With the ARH kit you get their gaskets, but throw them away and use the OEM gaskets and bolts if you have low milage on you vette. Those stage 8 things are not needed....Plus a PITA.

I saw a special on the kooks headers, x-pipe plus a free CAI for 2k. That seems like a pretty good deal. I don't know what speed engineering charges though.

Headers and uncatted mid pipe for $479 shipped. Occasionally there are coupons on eBay to buy from their ebay store for another 15% off.
Search the forum. Good reviews on these headers and a board sponsor too

That's the great thing about America, you buy what you want and I'll buy what I want as long as we're both happy then who cares right

So, NSF, did you do the install yourself? How difficult was it? I consider myself an intermediate level DIYer. Is this something I could tackle with jack stands in the garage?

I was one of the lucky ones that got their purchase from Maryland Speed without suing them The heat shield is from Z Cool at Specialty Materials

Yes , myself and a friend did it on his rack, not that hard but we took our time so it was a 2 day project, we're both old It is a nice system and you get everything needed!! To be truthful I wouldn't do it on jack stands because of the age deal but many members have done it on stands. It does tell you the height you have to be on the instrc.
