Mystery plug on engine

Default Mystery plug on engine

I was looking over my 2008 C6Z and noticed a plugtail that was not plugged into anything and am curious where it's supposed to go. It's located at the front of the passenger side cylinder head and has a red and green/white stripe wire. Any ideas?

That is the connector for the OEM EVAP canister purge valve, and someone removed it from your car when they changed the valve out to one of the mods (and turned off the DTC that normally would be thrown with it not connected..

The oem valve looks like this,



And sits here just below the lower arrow and in front of the passenger valve cover,
