I have had Corvettes for several years and usually find me in the C3 section. I recently purchased a base 2010,
C6 Vert with 25,000 on the clock. I am one of the fair weather drivers and am curious what tires are suggested for just general driving ?
Definitely want run flats

Michelin seems to be the tire brand of choice among most here. I have Michelin Pilot Sport run-flats on my car and really like them. Since your car is a driver I would seriously consider the run flats because of the security and piece of mind. You will get numerous points of view here on run flat or non-run flats, weigh all the pros and cons and make the best decision for you and the way yours the car.
First you need to decide if you want runflats or not. Other than the OEM Goodyears I think every name brand tire has been reviewed here to be at least be adequate, which is what you're looking for.
Once you've narrowed it down to a few brands, you can SEARCH here by tire name. I guarantee whatever tire you choose, it's been talked about.
Or go the easy route and get Michelins. AFAIK only one kook here is anti-Michelin, and IIRC it's only because they're foreign-owned.

If you want non runflats check into Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s.........They handle and grip well, are smooth and quiet and have a nice looking sidewall and tread design. They are reasonably priced too. I got all 4 installed, etc for less than 800.00 OTD. They are also ranked #1 by Tirerack for summer performance tires.

Go with Firestone Wide Oval Run Flats I'm on my second set myself and many other vettes owners love them better than the Michelins they ride better and great mileage and the best part is they cost less.
