Does the dashlogic box plug right into the OBD port or does it plug in by wire. If it plugs right into the port how far does it hang down. I would like to some what hide it.

It plugs into the OBD port. The 5v analog terminals are for additions such as a wideband. I used mine with a wideband, so both data shows in the HUD. It is not intrusive. I'm 6'5" and no clearance problems if that is your Q.
that way its not even in the way, and you can tuck flat cable up inside the panel above you feet, and run it to where ever you want. ther eis a gap in the center like behind the ashtray area it lays nice and out og the way awith it easly pulled out to swap profiles or remove to make changes.
also if you need the facroty port you can just unplud the flat adapter leaving all the dashlogic in place.
I have a similar splitter but it is shorter. Use a Window Valet and my V1 radar detector. Have used it since they came out with no problems. Have the wires tucked into the panel below the steering wheel.
I have a 2011 grand sport with manual transmission. Is there any way I can program driver info center to show transmission oil temperature without buying dashlogic.I do not race and do not really need to know all the other stuff.

AFAIK, no. I have a 13 GS and cannot show the trans temp with just the factory display. I am not even sure that the Dashlogic gives you that option, I will have to check on mine.
