I recently did some engine mods on my 08' 6.2. Now I'm a bit concerned about blowing up the rear end and/or transmission. I'm looking for some input on things to consider to upgrade in order to keep what I have from exploding. Thanks in advance.
I forgot to mention the mods that were done...Thanks for the reminder Brenda1.
Upgrades included a cam, methanol injection, ECS supercharger, new pushrods, timing chain, head gaskets, Kook's headers and mid pipes and transmission cooler. Everything else is stock

The issue with adding go fast parts is that they always find the "weak link in the chain". You may at some time experience a failure of some sort with the drive train depending on how hard you drive the car.
Research so far has indicated you live in Houston, are 56 years old, a male, your car is an '08 base and you've added a supercharger, cam, headers, and a few supporting mods.
This would have been a lot easier if you would have filled out your profile with that info and more, so people don't have to find out these things by other methods, including asking you a bunch of questions, while they are trying to help you.
OK, now off my soapbox.
Would I be correct to think you have an A6 trans, a 2.56 rear gear, and the track you mentioned is a dragstrip.
If so, what tires do you currently have on the car and do you intend to use them at the drags?

I'm not sure of the trans but the rear end is a 2.73 (got that from the tuner). Yes, I would like to run it on the drag strip. I upgraded the rear tires to M/T 305 drag radials and yes, i'll be running them on the srtip
