Default Anyone have experience with Safety Restore?

Looking to add orange seat belts to the GS similar to the C7 ZR1 & Hot Wheels Camaro. Safety Restore's website says they can do pretty much any color on your factory reels/retractors. Wondering if anyone had any experience with this? Thanks!

There is a guy who has a build thread for a 2012 centennial GS that did custom seat belts.

Thanks I’ll search for it. Safety Restore doesn’t provide color samples so I’m not going to take a chance on their orange if I can’t see it first.

On their website it appears to be safety orange (the really bright neon looking orange), but I am not sure. I did order color samples from seatbeltplanet.com - they had black with orange edge, orange & sunset orange. Safety Restore does say they can do custom colors, so if one of these from Seatbelt Planet is the color I want I may see if Safety Restore can do it. Safety Restore's price looks to be about 1/2 of Seatbelt Planet to re-web your OEM units.

To update this. I ordered 3 color samples from www.seatbeltplanet.com & received them within 2 days.
I’m leaning toward the black with orange edges & think that will compliment my interior nicely. Seatbelt Planet charges $180 per seatbelt to re-web your OEM units with the “custom” new webbing. Seemed a bit much, so I contacted Safety Restore to see if they could get the black w/Orange edges (not listed on their website) & they replied back that they have it. Their cost is $75 per seatbelt. I’ll update & let you know how they turn out.

Are you removing them, sending them the belts,, and they return them with the new belts? Forn75 bucks each? Heck of a deal.

That black with orange is sweet. Adds just enough color.

Yes you send them your OEM units and they re-web them. They promise a 24 hour turnaround also.

That is a great deal. I expect them to get a lot busier, maybe we could negotiate a group buy.
