Removing Console pieces
I’m going to wrap my console but I’m not sure how to remove the following switches and trim parts. Hazard switch, traction control switch, and the trim pieces that go around the shifter and cup holders.

The Traction switch button has a tab (white arrow) that fits in a slot on the console. Rotate the switch and push in (red arrows) until the tab lines up you can push the switch out of the console.
The trim pieces are held in with 4 screws, I believe, one on each corner. That will not release the trim pieces, as they are also held in tight to the console with melted rivet type plastic (white arrows). These have to be broken by prying up using a small srewdriver to release the trim pieces. The trim pieces can be replaced, and a hot glue gun can be used to reattach the trim pieces, along with the screws that were removed.
Hopefully, this helps.
