Door mirror replacement
Glass is broken out and missing on my passenger door. Housing isn't damaged. Got a replacement assembly on the way. Was reading a DIY on here on how to replace it. Confused on the reason you have to remove the door panel and unbolt the mirror from the door.
Final step is to replace the glass portion of the mirror using a suction cup and then reverse the steps for the install.
Question #2 is how do I remove the new mirror from it's housing so I can install it in my existing housing.
