So from what I read, and seen on youtube, the clunking noice in the rear is from worn end links. Anyone recommend a Corvette specialist in the Orlando area? Don't want to go to the dealership.

I don't know of anyone in particular, but end links are pretty easy. If you buy the parts, which you should, I can't imagine any shop needing more than 1 hour, 2 hrs. tops, to get it done. Ask your local Corvette club for info on a shop. Also, go to the "regional" listing of our forum...someone will likely know of a shop.
The end links are not always the source of rear suspension noise. It could be a loose axle nut, which you can fix by yourself in maybe 5 minutes, or loose or badly worn shocks, as well as other issues. If a really good mechanic puts it on the rack, they will likely be able to see what is up. I agree with you about a dealer....DO NOT GO THERE! THEY WILL TELL YOU YOUR CAR NEEDS $2000 IN REPAIRS.

clunk over bumps, or acceleration, braking?
i ask because I had a clunk from the rear on acceleration and it was a loose axle nut.
I'm in total agreement with everybody else on the axle nuts but doesn't look like anybody has commented that is a one-time torque nut. you need to go to the dealer and buy two new axle nuts very cheap put Loctite on it, tighten to the proper torque and let it sit overnight there's a lot of write-ups on it.
I had same issue, very cheap easy fix and silent as a church mouse now. You can't just check and tighten the current ones on the car, just replace them.

Lee, the jury is out on that. There are lots of recommendations to remove the right rear nut, and re-torque to a higher value (I forget exactly what), just as there are posts to simply buy a new nut and use it. I removed and re-torqued mine on my first C6 because it was making some noise. The noise went away. I sold it 10 months later with no recurrence of the noise. I am not disagreeing with what you say, only offering a different option. Surely, the $5 cost of the nut will not break the bank for anyone...
