I went with a MM and hide it behind the battery. I run 10AN lines from each valve cover to a Y fitting and the back to the can. I also hide the coils behind the fenders.
Used a red Elite can and mounting bracket, plus their stainless braided hoses, on my GS A6. Pretty much followed their install instructions. In the spring, after hibernation (me and the car), I'm going to find a more professional way of keeping the various hoses away from the can so they don't rub. As you can see, there's a few zip ties and tape there now, but I can do better than that. BTW, it's very easy to unscrew the canister in this mounting position - takes less than 30 seconds, if that. Same to reinstall it.

Hey FatsWaller, Can you unscrew the bottom portion of your can without first unscrewing the can from the bracket? I also have an elite can but maybe my bracket is shorter because I have an LS7 but my can sits under the lip of the fuel rail cover so to unscrew the can I first have to remove the two mounting screws for the can and lift out the can to unscrew it as the can sits right on top of the thermostat housing.

The bottom of the can easily unscrews and there's enough clearance under it to drop it down, move it to the rear, and pull it up and out without tipping it. No need to remove it from the bracket at all. About the only things on the car easier to remove are the gas filler cap and valve stem caps. It's just as easy to screw it back on. Done it about 4 times now.

Well, first of all, I have an LS3, not an LS7, so I don't know how different the set up and heads are. However, for the LS3, Elite provides an installation kit that has, among other things, a bracket, washer, hex bolt, and aluminum spacer (piece of pipe, if you will). When assembled, they look like this (I've cribbed all of the pics from their install guide, available on their web site):
There is a threaded hole in the front of the head on the passenger side which is occupied by a wire clip that secures part of the writing harness. You need to remove the clip - it just popped out. Elite doesn't say what to do with the clip and harness afterwards, and they never got back to me when I asked them about it, so I ended up zip tying the harness and clip to the spacer so it wouldn't flop about. It's not visible in any pic that I have.
The hex bolt and bracket screw into the threaded hole vacated by the clip. After that, you attach the can and two hoses.
BTW, this is not my engine bay, so no flack about the grime.
If it's of any help, I've attached the complete install guide. Obviously, there's a bit more to the installation than what I've written about above.
Also, when I was surfing around looking for additional information on what to do about the wiring harness, someone else had written an install guide and must have been using a different bracket than the one I used, because they didn't use the spacer, and the can ended up under the fuel rail cover. In their case, they could only fasten the can to the bracket with one screw (not 2), and in order to drop the can to empty it, they have to unscrew it from the bracket. Maybe Elite came with an engineering change, because my installation required no mods, and as I've stated, the can is very easy to empty without removing anything other than the bottom half of the can.
Looks like the new design raises and stands off the can. Here is what my setup looks like. I have to take the entire can off the bracket each time. as there is no room to unscrew the can as it rests on the coolant lines. I'm going to call elite tomorrow and buy the standoff and bolt.
I looked around at the available options, but factoring in shipping and import costs from the States I opted for a cheap unit from ebay (that looks very similar to an existing, Corvette specific model). I loosely filled it with stainless steel pot scourers and sourced a short length of braided oil hose. The supplied bracket fits the LS2 just fine and the plastic engine cover fits over the top too. It has eliminated the occasional puff of blue smoke I was getting on full throttle up shifts, although it's a bit fiddly getting the to valve at the bottom to empty the small quantity of oil it collects.

Do you have the larger can? I have the standard size can with no standoff and I have room to just unscrew the can.
