Bcm issue?
1. The fog lights stay on most of the time, even during the day. They will sometimes randomly shut off. The switch doesn't work to turn them on or off.
2. I occasionally get a "service traction control" or "stability control" warning.
3. Today I got a ABS brake warning, and then all the gauges went to zero, including the gas gauge (with a full tank).
If I shut the car off, and then restart, all the issues go away.
Sound like a BCM that needs replaced?

2. EBCM problem, so tech II to start with to pull the codes at the ABS/AH level to help you track down the problem that may not be in the EBCM module to start with.
3. Sounds like a Instrument panel cluster or GM land bus/connector to the Ipc problem, and not a BCM module problem isntead. Hence Ipc may look analog, but it's really all digital, with the information sent to it, is from the ecm via the GM land bus isntead.
So my sugestion, before you go off on chasing problems in the wrong direction/module, would suggest that you pull the trouble codes since they will point you to the problem areas. also learn all the modules on the car, what they are responsible for, and how they are interconnected to each other. For the most part, the main modules are inter connected to each other on the main GM lan bus, but there the class 2 data link that other devices tie into the main module instead.
Main GM lan bus, and class 2 data links to start with.
